Kailash Joshi is Professor of Management Information Systems at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. His research interests include management of IS, IS implementation, use of IS for improving organizational performance, ddatawarehousing, and issues in offshore outsourcing, He has published in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Decision Sciences. IEEE Journal of Engineering Management, Journal of Information Systems, and Information and Management. He teaches in the area of management information systems, database, data warehousing, and systems design. He also serves on International Business Committee and on the editorial board of an IS journal (JITCA).

Mary C. Lacity is Professor of Information Systems and an International Business Fellow at the University of Missouri- St. Louis. Her current research focuses on global outsourcing of business and IT services. She has conducted case studies and surveys of hundreds of organizations on their outsourcing and management practices. She has given executive seminars world-wide and has served as an expert witness for the US Congress. She was the recipient of the 2008 Gateway to Innovation Award sponsored by the IT Coalition, Society for Information Management, and St. Louis RCGA and the 2000 World Outsourcing Achievement Award sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers and Michael Corbett and Associates. She has published 11 books, most recently Information Systems Outsourcing: Theory and Practice (Palgrave, 2009; coauthor: Leslie P. Willcocks) and Offshore Outsourcing of IT Work, (Palgrave, 2008; coauthor Joe Rottman). More than 50 of her publications have appeared in the Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review, MIS Quarterly, IEEE Computer, Communications of the ACM, and many other academic and practitioner outlets. She is Senior Editor of the Journal of Information Technology, Co-editor of the Palgrave Series: Work, Technology, and Globalization and on the Editorial Boards for MIS Quarterly Executive, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Strategic Outsourcing: An International Journal, and Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS).

Dinesh A. Mirchandani is Associate Professor of Information Systems in the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri St. Louis. He received a Ph.D. in Business Administration (MIS) from the University of Kentucky, an M.S in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering (Honors) from the University of Bombay. His research interests include information systems planning and electronic commerce. His papers have been published in academic journals such as Communications of the ACM, Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Information & Management, and the International Journal of Production Economics, among others.

Joseph Rottman is Associate Professor of Information Systems at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Research Fellow in both the Center for International Studies and the International Business Institute at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. He earned his Doctor of Science in Information Management from Washington University in St. Louis. He has conducted research and spoken internationally on global sourcing, innovation diffusion and public sector IT. He has conducted case studies in over 40 firms and has been engaged by Fortune 500 firms to analyze their offshore strategies. His recent book, Offshore Outsourcing of IT Work (with Mary C. Lacity) details models and practices IT professionals can utilize to effectively engage offshore suppliers and explores emerging outsourcing markets such as rural sourcing and the Chinese market. His publications have appeared in Sloan Management Review, MIS Quarterly Executive, Information Systems Frontiers, Strategic Outsourcing: An International Journal, IEEE Computer, the Journal of Information Technology, the American Review of Public Administration and Information and Management and leading practitioner outlets such as CIO Insight and the Cutter Consortium. He was the 2006 recipient of the Anheuser-Busch Excellence in Teaching award, and is on the editorial boards of MIS Quarterly Executive and the Journal of Information Technology.

Rajiv Sabherwal is University of Missouri System Curators' Professor at University of Missouri-St. Louis. During the 2009-2010 academic year, he is the Fulbright-Queen's School of Business Research Chair of knowledge management at Queen's School of Business. He is a Fellow of the Association for Information Systems, and will be Conference Co-chair for International Conference on Information Systems in 2010. He is Senior Editor for a special issue at Information Systems Research, and has earlier served as Departmental Editor (information technology) of IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and Senior Editor of MIS Quarterly. He has published extensively on the management and impacts of information systems and knowledge in journals such as Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, Organization Science, Decision Science, California Management Review, and Communications of the ACM. He has co-authored three textbooks in the areas of knowledge management and business intelligence. He has previously taught at Florida State University and Florida International University, and worked as a systems analyst in India. He earned a Ph.D. in business administration (with information systems concentration) from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989.

Vicki Sauter is Professor of MIS at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. Professor Sauter received her Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Northwestern University. Her research interests include the areas of decision support systems and systems analysis. Her primary research interest is how decision makers make choices as it reflects upon the design of decision support systems. She has focused her research on the models and the model management features that would facilitate their use in a DSS, and examined these issues in both the public and private sectors, and in cross-cultural domains. In the systems analysis area, her research regards methodologies and their effectiveness. She has a book in press, Decision Support Systems for Business Intelligence, and another in preparation, You Are Never Too Old To Surf. Current research projects include visualization of relationship data, the development of intelligent strategies for internet-based decision support systems and meta strategies for analysis. In addition, she has begun a research stream addressing women in IT; most recently she has studied stereotype threat and its impacts on women in IT. In addition to her research, Professor Sauter has served as a technical consultant for many St. Louis businesses and not-for-profit corporations, and has served as an expert witness in Federal Court. She has published extensively, including numerous publications in scholarly journals, several chapters in books, and articles in professional magazines. Professor Sauter has also created extensive instructional related software and support tools, many of which are now available on the Web. She currently serves as an Associate Editor for Journal of Decision Support Systems Technology and for INFORMS Online, and is a Theme Editor for the IFORS Online Encyclopedia.

Ashok Subramanian is Associate Professor of MIS at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He has a Ph.D. in MIS and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston, and a B.S. in Chemistry and Physics from the University of Bombay. His research interests include Telecommunications technologies, applications, and policies; Distributed Computing technologies such as Client Server Computing and Web Services; Object Oriented Systems Development, and Information Technology transfer. His articles have appeared in Information and Management, Omega, Journal of Information Technology Management, INFOR, The American Review of Public Administration, and other journals. He has worked as a consultant in the areas of IT Architecture development, Corporate policies and standards for managing corporate computer networks, Business Process Re-Engineering, Systems Migration and Integration, and Architecture and implementation of Converged Data Networks. His teaching interests include Telecommunications / Data Communications, Client-Server Systems and Distributed Computing, Object Oriented Systems Development, Information Systems Strategy, Theoretical Foundations of Information Systems.
